We are thrilled to congratulate all the young swimmers who participated in the National School Games 2024 Swimming Junior and Senior Division! This year's competition showcased remarkable talent and determination from both the male and female divisions, making it a truly inspiring event for all.
Let's highlight some outstanding achievements from both divisions:
In the boys' category, Ocean Ping Fan Mok from Temasek Primary School (TPS) showcased his prowess by clinching victories in both the 25m butterfly and 25m breaststroke races. Additionally, Jaerus Teo Cheng Jun, representing Anglo-Chinese School (Junior) (ACS (J)), demonstrated his skill by triumphing in the 25m breaststroke and 25m freestyle races. Furthermore, Jayden Qi Hao Ko from Anglo-Chinese School Independent secured 1st place with an impressive time of 1:04.92 in the Boys 17 and Over 100m Breaststroke event. Xu Sheng Chin from Raffles Institution also showcased his talent, finishing 1st with a remarkable time of 2:09.24 in the Boys 17 & Over 200m Butterfly event.
In the girls’ category, Goh Nathalie Rui Yi of Methodist Girls' School (MGS) impressed everyone by claiming the top spot in the Junior Div Girls 25m backstroke and 25m freestyle event, outperforming 14 competitors with a remarkable time of 38.26s. Furthermore, Sashikumar Kareena from Farrer Park Primary School (FPPS) celebrated her victory by winning the girls' 25m breaststroke and 25m freestyle race. Additionally, Isabelle Jia Ying Cheah from Dunman High School excelled, claiming 1st place with an impressive time of 1:13.73 in the Girls 17 and Over 100m Breaststroke event. Elle Nicole Jiaqi Tay from Singapore Sports School showcased her talent, securing 1st place with a commendable time of 2:38.87 in the Girls 17 & Over 200m Breaststroke event.
